HFF 07 Recap, Parting Shots

The following is a tutorial on How To Avoid The Bummer Life. And on this day I would say it was a success.

Whiskey in Lego man's mug, step one.

Drink from the Lego man, step two thru six hundred sixty six.

Gaze at the Lego man with much pride and admiration, step 667.

Find Pintz Guzzled and negotiate a clothing swap, step 668.

Tuck away your belongings and get back to it, step 669 until blackout.

HFF 07 Recap, Second look

This is all backwards, but does it really matter??

I can hear the FU harmony. Hey Thorny, it is not a picture phone, even though I can hear your finger when I see it.

Brad Burns and Robo in the mix.

Over the Edge is a fitting name for his place.

Kristy and Brauer Power got the joke, but did KK?

Sammy inspecting the High Life.

HFF 07 Recap

Can't make it this year, might as well throw up some pictures from last year. All the people make the Homie what it is, insane.

Gene 'running' things and Hwood getting ready for a run, or a gang war or something...

KK doesn't like metal, he is METAL!

Thorny, the Vitch, and Chops, and the top of the best hat ever made.

Cheaver & Wakeman both back in the 612, Complayna rolling away

Zito all dressed up and ready to ride, drink, smoke and be Zito...

Tracks

Some cool tracks up in the snow this morning at Eldora. Based on the size compared to the shoe prints whatever made them was big. Didn't some guy claim to have proof of big foot not too long ago?

Boulder Res

Did a little superfan action at the Boulder CX race on Sunday.

Watched the women's and men's open races.

Super lame that all the 'elite' men warm up on the course while the women's race was going on. If they were really so 'pro' they would go to their rv and warm up on rollers or a trainer.

No Mpls style pack of superfans either. If the officials don't care about dbags warming up during the womens race, a good pack of superfans could have shamed them off the course. Or at least sprayed them with beer.

Snow

Making it.
All day long...
No pictures.

Nice view up on the hill today. Best part of the day was on the last run down after sunset, view of the lights in Boulder way down.

Carry on.

Bacon

Bacon, wait no it was Spam, they said it was Spam so it was shut down by some sort of Spambot.

Whatever.

Didn't have much time to post anyway.

My dad was out here for a few days, did a sweet loop in the car to spy some fall colors. Took in Loveland Pass, A Basin, Keystone, the Alpine Deli in Frisco, Leadville, Independence Pass, Aspen, Gwood Springs and the Vail Valley. Plenty of pictures, but that is old news now.

French Chef was out here. We had a good routine of riding, eating and drinking for several days. I think he got plenty of all and it was super sweet to share some of my riding routes. Even capped it off with a ride up in Ned with FC and BJCV. Some pictures of that too, but...

Headed to Mpls for a long weekend of drinking, eating, visiting, Hwood wedding, CX race viewing, family visiting, and I think more drinking. Some pictures of that too...

Got the moto rolling, about the time of year I normally do... Took it for a wet ride across MN, Neb and CO. The sun broke free to show a sweet sunset on the rockies rolling in to The Republic after 2 days on the road. Some pictures of that too...

Rode the moto up the mtn this morning, about 25 degrees up in the canyon. Spent the day up learning to control the weather, should be an interesting winter. No pictures of that... yet. But I can't wait to get on a routine and start riding to work or back with a bus somewhere in there too depending. On a good day I will have about a 30 mile commute with maybe 4,000 ft of climbing or a good little downhill.

Oh, and heard that A Basin and Loveland opened up today. I have a feeling the bikes might get some rest soon, well other than that commute...

Close your eyes and visualize.

There, no need to post pictures.
