70 some hours

And only one picture taken the whole time.

Congrats again to Dannah.

Thanks to:
Fride for a basement to sleep in.
Thorny for a bike to ride and mad skills at finding a cab at 5am.
FC for laying out some great food at Heartland on Sunday night.

Looking good

The hood

Under ten blocks from home.

Maybe I let George out and he was running around the neighborhood causing a ruckus?? Don't think so.

And if you keep prey in your yard, don't you sort of expect some preditors to come? I would think fox and coyotes for sure.

Ah, that is what we are doing wrong, by saving $4 a week on eggs, they must pay the mortgage on a their million dollar home. And every now and then you can have a 'free' roasted chicken. But the Prius must get dirty from hauling the feed?

Next summer we will have a garden, chickens, and of course a multi million $ home...Maybe a goat too.

Tic Toc

It is on, for them...

I watched this, makes me think that driving for and hour and a half for one run might be worth it in the next couple weeks.

When left to make his own decisions...

He says Fuck the dog bed...

Commutour

Finally got the LHT out on the road. Super sweet set up for hauling stuff to work. I had to pull the front rack off so that I can put it in the bike rack for the Boulder to Ned bus ride. Plenty of space in the rear bags for a weeks work of lunch food and extra cloths.

Took Magnolia home on Monday night, the LHT is like a freight train on the gravel roads. It even handled the steep switch back decent well. All in all it rode like a bike, a long stable freight train of a bike.

The old xtr drivetrain makes for great gearing for getting up the steeps, thanks for robbing that of your wife's bike Thorny!

Stopped on the way up to Eldo this am to clear some rocks off the road, trying to avoid a repeat of last Friday.

Bang

Front tire meets rock at 40+mph... Bang.

Kept it upright, luckily the flat at the bottom of the shelf road was near.

Made use of the patch kit from my ducti wallet, Thanks Fride!

Rolled into Ned, looked at the tire and decided that the bus was the way to make it home alive.

Another Day

Another season.

Wed am, the pot of gold must be in the Town of Eldora.

The view back to Ned is golden anyway.

Thurs am things were a bit different, winter is back. About 20 out this morning with a wind ripping out of the west at 30+ mph and an inch of snow/ice on the ground. Made the ride up the shelf road on the Soulcraft intersting to say the least.

Just hoping the wind keeps up so I can get a sweet taily all the way home.
